Best Seats at Caesars Superdome

The Caesars Superdome is one of the most famous venues in sports history and is the largest fixed-dome stadium in the world. It has hosted seven Super Bowls, the NFL’s most significant games, and has been a cultural anchor for New Orleans through the city’s most challenging moments. The indoor environment keeps all seats comfortable regardless of Louisiana’s heat and humidity, and the dome design creates exceptional crowd noise.

Best seats for sightlines: Lower level sections 101 through 149 wrap the field. The prime sideline sections are 108 through 136, with the 50-yard line sections 118 through 126 being the most coveted. The Superdome’s bowl design means rows at the back of the lower level still maintain good elevation and field view.

Best seats for value: The upper level sections in the 300s, 400s, 500s, and 600s on the sidelines offer progressively more affordable options. Sections 310 through 328 on the east sideline in the lower of the upper levels are the best value balance, giving you a full overhead view at a meaningful discount from lower bowl prices.

Best seats for the Superdome atmosphere: The enclosed dome traps crowd noise, making the Superdome one of the loudest NFL venues when the Saints are playing well. The lower bowl between the 20-yard lines is the epicenter of the home crowd energy, particularly sections 120 through 130.

Best seats for away fans: Upper end zone sections in the 500s and 600s are the traditional away fan territory. New Orleans is one of the most popular away-trip destinations in the NFL, and visiting fan groups often find the city’s hospitality extends to the stadium experience.

Best seats for sightlines from the club level: The club level sections in the 200s and 300s offer access to enclosed premium spaces. Sections 218 through 232 on the sideline combine solid on-field views with upscale amenities in a climate-controlled environment.

Sections to avoid: The very top of the upper-dome sections, particularly in the 600s end-zone corners, are the most remote seats in the building. At maximum elevation in a dome this large, the field can feel quite distant. These are best avoided if the budget allows for any alternative.

Caesars Superdome Seat Numbers

The Superdome Seating pattern for the New Orleans Saints stadium is simple. The lower seat numbers are always closer to the section with the lower section number next to them, and vice versa.

For example, seat 1 in section 142 is in the aisle next to section 141, and seat 22 in section 142 is in the aisle next to section 143. Note that other sections in the 100s, such as 144, 145, 111, 112, 116, 117, 139, and 140, have 24 seats per row.

Caesars Superdome Club Seats

If you are a frequent New Orleans Saints attendee, you would know that sitting within the first couple of rows at the new Superdome is one of the worst choices. Although the first couple of rows are typically considered the best seats, they leave your wallet empty and your eyes craving an unobstructed view.

The face value of every row in the Plaza Club Sideline seats is the same. Doesn’t that sound weird? Row 1 or row 36 on the 50-yard line is the same price. That’s because the higher up you are (in the 100s sideline seats), the better overall seat view you will have to watch the Saints play.

Where is the New Orleans Saints Bench?

The New Orleans Saints bench is in front of sections 141-143, and the visitors’ bench is in front of sections 113-115.

Caesars Superdome Review

“The Mercedes Benz Superdome is appropriately named as it is the Mercedes Benz of football stadiums. Folks, this is luxury football going. Let me preface that by saying that I’m from Boston and I’m used to freezing my ass off in Gillette Stadium… an experience that comes with a sort of camaraderie that is lacking in a temperature and climate-controlled dome. It’s like going to watch a sporting event in a luxury box, but the whole stadium is a luxury box. We had amazing seats in Section 149 (corner) row 25.

The view was phenomenal and the sound in the stadium was great (not something you might think of as a luxury unless you’ve been to Qualcomm stadium where you can’t hear a thing and are left wondering what’s going on half the time). Just behind our section were restrooms and a full bar with premium liquor and imported beer. The prices were totally reasonable, at $9 for a single shot and $15 for a double shot, or $9 for an imported beer. The restrooms were clean and the line moved quickly.”

ADA Seating at Caesars Superdome

Saints fans using a wheelchair and/or those looking to attend a game at the Caesars Superdome with somebody who is, keep reading.  ADA seating is in the accessible rows at the top of most sections throughout the venue.

Folding chairs are also provided for guests, such as those who need to sit with a fan while using a wheelchair. One trick you can use to filter tickets that are ADA accessible is to use our “Additional filters +” button on the event page. It allows you to select “ADA (wheelchair accessible).” Therefore, you can find all the seats the seller has labeled as accessible.
