Later that night, well after debuting the lead single, Weezer made two huge announcements. They released the second EP in the SZNZ series, Summer, a 7-song rock opus that we imagine Weezer fans will be listening to all season long. Then, they announced their next live shows: A residency at Broadway Theatre planned for September of this year.

When is Weezer on Broadway?
Weezer will hold residency at New York City’s Broadway Theatre on September 13, 14, 16, 17, & 18th. So far, these are the only performances Weezer has scheduled in North America this year. Which means, Weezer at the Braodway Theatre this fall might be your last and only chance to see them promote the 4 EP SZNZ project live.
Where is Weezer on Broadway?
The band’s five-show SZNZ residency will take place at the Broadway Theatre, one of the most iconic venues along the Great White Way. The 53rd street theater has been home to famous musicals such as Les Misérables and Miss Saigon over the stretch of its nearly 100 year life. We are psyched that Weezer chose such historic and hallowed NYC grounds to hold their first-ever Broadway residency.

The last time Weezer went on tour was for 2019’s “Hella Mega” Tour with Fall Out Boy and Green Day. The joint tour brought together some of the best surviving rock bands we have today, representing a genre that is very much alive and brimming with talent.
